“L’altra metà del cielo” è il balletto in quattro atti che debutterà a fine marzo al teatro La Scala di Milano, scritto da Vasco Rossi. La sceneggiatura, scritta dallo stesso Vasco, racconterà delle primincipali figure femminili che hanno caratterizzato la carriera del Blasco. Come ormai tradizioni di casa Rossi, Vasco ha deciso di pubblicare in anteprima sul web alcune anticipazioni. Si tratta più che altro di un breve filmato che lo ritrae al lavoro sull’arraggiamento di “Gabry”.Eccone il contenuto:

Kurt Donald Cobain, nasceva ad Aberdeen il 1967. Oggi avrebbe avuto 45 anni, se il 5 Aprile del 1994 non avesse deciso di togliersi la vita, stanco di ciò che la sua vita, la sua villa e i suoi milioni di dollari, rappresentavano per lui. Dei suoi 27 anni di vita, gli ultimi 4 sono consacrati alla storia della musica. “Smell like teen spirit” esce nel 1991, poco dopo arriva l’album “Nevermind”. Da quel momento il rock non sarebbe più stato lo stesso. Per molti un’autentica rivoluzione, per altri l’inno di una generazione “X”. A Kurt probabilmente non importava, e del resto nemmeno a noi. “Chinese”. Di cosa stiamo parlando?DI un demo spuntato in questi giorni in rete, firmato niente meno che Pearl Jam. Il brano è del 1991 ed evoca fortemente le sonorità dell’ablum “Mirror Ball” datato 1995. Prima di lasciarvi all’ascolto, ricordiamo che i Pearl Jam saranno in tour nel 2012 per tutta l’Europa, senza però fare tappa in Italia.

Un regalo ai fans di tutto il mondo, che non hanno potuto celebrare assieme alla band, il trentesimo compleanno dei Metallica. Si tratta di un video di 45 minuti, che riassume la serata conclusiva della serie di concerti celebrativi che la band ha tenuto a San Francisco, lo scorso mese di Dicembre. La serata postata è quella del 10 Dicembre, quando sul palco dei Metallica si sono alternati i Soul Rebels ed i Death Angel. Una serata che poi i Metallica hanno concluso rendendo, per lunghi tratti, omaggio al loro primo album.
